Gipfel Proxima 2 is a high-quality hiking / trekking tent designed for warm climates, including the tropics. Proxima 2 is a light tent capable of withstanding bad weather, including summer storms. Double-shell tunnel tent Gipfel Proxima 2 with inner construction and lots of inner space for two persons, the dimensions of inner tent are (L x W x H) 270 x 125/95 x 95/55 cm, it is made of polyester mesh containing the insect repellent substance, the floor is made of 70D nylonu with ripstop structure and polyurethane coating (water resistance / water column 5000 mm), two-rod aluminum construction from famous manufacturer DAC (Dongah Aluminum Corporation) with patented handles “Jake's Foot“ and outer shell made of 210T polyester with polyurethane coating (water resistance / water column 3000 mm) + DWR technology (Durable Water Repellent) and taped seams. The tent with one entrance Gipfel Proxima 2 also includes an anteroom with front entry and storage area for shoes. There are also the tensioning cords, steel pins without eyelets and compression bag. The dimensions of outer tent are (L x W x H) 300 x 155/125 x 100/60 cm and the weight is 1,92 kg. Gipfel Proxima 2 was desinged and tested by Indian climbers for whom the Himalayas are their home.
