Ice hockey elbow pads

Elbow protectors are used by hockey players only for protection. They protect the elbow itself and the elbow joint from injuries caused above all by fallings down which happen quite often at ice hockey. Quality hockey elbow protectors provide the biceps and forearm with sufficent protection. Elbow protectors are usually fastened with two straps, higher models are even provided with three straps. Straps are mostly flexible and that is why they provide sufficient level of variability and adapt to player's arm. The body and the main protector are mostly made of a specially anatomically formed plastic covered with a comfortable lining on the inner side and there are other protective parts such as e.g. foam on the outer side.
