Hockey sticks

Sticks belong together with skates and protectors to the main equipment of the ice hockey. The stick consists of the blade (part which hits the puck) and shaft (part which the player is holding). When choosing, focus on several parameters – hardness, material, player's height and curved part. The stick hardness (is given on the shaft) states how easily the stick curves. As for the material, you can choose from wooden or composite sticks. It is necessary to know the player's height to estimate the suitable stick lenght. You can recognise whether to choose the curvature for right-hand players (RH) or left-hand palyers (LH) according to which hand is in a lower position on the stick.
